William D Murrell, Healthpoint Hospital

Dr Bill is an American Board-certified consultant Orthopaedic Sports and Regenerative Medicine. Dr Bill offers advice on the treatment/surgery on numerous elective and emergency orthopaedic conditions. He is currently the Chief Science Officer for Emirates Healthcare, and Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Integra Medical & Surgery Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

An internationally renowned clinician, educator, and researcher, he frequently lectures on MSK regenerative medicine. He is also the Principal Investigator in clinical trials investigating adjuvant stem cells in the treatment of articular cartilage defect(s), the use of gold-induced cytokines for treatment of shoulder tendinopathy, and instituted a first regenerative medicine patient outcome registry in the Middle East. He has authored several publications on musculoskeletal medicine and biological treatments. He is the Co-Founder of Biologic Orthopaedic Journal and is a Editor and Reviewer on numerous Advisory and Editorial Boards. He frequently participates in international medical conferences, both as an organiser and a presenter, and was the Chairman of several Middle East Orthopaedic Conferences, most recently in 2016. He is also the Chairman – Board of Directors, and President of the American Academy and Board of Regenerative Medicine – Middle East and North Africa, and a member of the Board of Directors, American Academy and Board of Regenerative Medicine, USA.
